I have gathered a few websites with great info about third graders. Third grade is a transition year in elementary school. Students are learning to be independent thinkers and are given increasing responsiblity that they didn't have in second grade. They are learning to be organzied and are dealing with a new dynamic of peer relationships. It is an amazing year for your child!
